1. What is your first name and general location? Christa Vancouver, Wa and Portland Or
2. What do you do for a living? Pet Sitter
3. What are your (other!) hobbies? crocheting, knitting, reading, being online

5. What is your biggest passion within the subject of birds/bird keeping? Being an advocate for the birds. Cats and Dogs have plenty

6. What species are your birds, and how did they get their names? Senegals, quaker, african greys. All but one I adopted so they all came with their names. Well I did name Kermit- it is not easy being green or naked. Ashbird is named after Ash from Army of Darkness
7. What is the favorite toy for your flock? soft pine chunks, phone books
8. What is your flock's favorite food? Dave's killer bread, Bananas, spicy pasta

10. How long have you been keeping birds? 2002

11. What sparked your interest in them? a play by Susan Glaspell named Triffles

Kermit the frog... "It's Hard To be Green!!!! " :lol:

I saw Billie Joel/Elton John, Face-to-Face Tour. Billy was playing solo, and Elton entered the stage wearing a fluorescent, green, vinyl suit, and Billy, abruptly, stopped the song he was singing, and broke out, into, "It's Hard To Be Green", in Kermit's voice. "PRICELESS"!!!

I'm not familiar with "Susan Glaspell named Triffles" , but I love that you were inspired to be a QP slave, by a play.:)

I haven't done theater in years. I miss it so much!!

Well, I did learn a lot there, that has been placed into my "normal" thoughts of life.

"Life imitates art", "Art imitates life"....... Posted Image ...and.......

"paint it black, it'll go away". Words to live by. ??????
