I just want to wish all of our members Happy Holidays! :)

I've been in the Christmas spirit for over two months, and STILL haven't put up my tree!!  Aaaah, time's running out! :) I'm going to my grandma's tomorrow to bake cookies, it's one of our traditions.  I'm really looking forward to that.

What are your Holiday plans/traditions? :)

Hey Dani, happy holidays to you as well as everyone else on the forum.  I will be doing lots of voli work over the break with various groups I belong to plus catching up with friends.

Happy Holidays to everyone from Ralph and me. smile.png

My tree is up, but is only half decorated. wacko.png Just about everything that needs to be done before Christmas is only half done. I'm confident I'll finish it all though... sort of. biggrin.png Since my mom passed away 10 years ago, it's been up to me to bake the cookies that we always had for Christmas, plus a few of my own invention. It's also a family tradition to decorate every room in the house, even the bathroom-- which is Ralph's favorite play space. He stares at the decorations a lot. laugh.png

Happy Holidays!!

We put our tree up two weeks ago. It is always one of my favorite things about Christmas. We tell stories and reminisce as we pull out ornaments and decorations. This year was different in that the two older kids grumbled about my insistence on listening to Christmas music while we decorated. I compromised and let them put in Redneck Christmas towards the end of the evening. My youngest, Jeriel, who visits the forum, still humors her mom by singing along to every song and even helped her dad hang the outdoor lights.

As far as cookies go, we tried a new recipe this year and they were a flop. lol turned out like cake batter, so we panned them rather than dropped. It turned out more like cornbread. The old family recipes are the best!

I helped my mom put up and decorate their tree two days after Thanksgiving!  I can't believe I'm so late getting ours up! :)

I'm still in the process of making my Christmas presents....I still have to make my aunt and uncle's, part of my mom's, and my sister and brother-in-law's.....I feel so behind! LOL

Happy Holidays to all of you!!! :) :)
I get to spend this holiday with my husband and my Mom. We are visiting my oldest son's family. I am volunteering for a few days too, for a couple of local groups.

Oh.my.gosh......I am SO embarrassed about that post!  I'm so sorry, everyone!  I had a wonderful nap, and am mostly out of that drug-induced funk.

I feel much better, and again...I'm so sorry!

I'm feeling much better today, thank you! :) Last night was migraine-free!  Yay!!! :D

I really need to get busy finishing my gifts, getting my tree up, and making cookies with Gram!  So much to do, so little time! :)
