If you didn' know quakers love cooked recipes. This is my quaker,Gismos favorite.Make sure you heat or thaw it before giving it to them.I mix it in with the pebbles but you dont have to.Respond if you have any questions or any other good recipes.

1 cup of yellow corn meal
2 tsps of baking powder
3/4 tsps of salt
1/2 tsps of baking soda
1tbs of sugar
2 eggs with shells
3 tbs of oil of your choice
1 cup of buttermilk
Grease an 8 inch pan with pam.Mix dry ingredients.Wash eggs then pulverize in blender.Mix in oil and buttermilk then mix in dry ingredients.Bake for 30 min on 350 degrees.Cool and cut into small squares and freeze. It lasts a very long time.

That sounds good. Thanks. I can't wait to try it. It sounds similar to other recipes that use the Jiffy mix, and it seems we're always out of it when I want to make it!
