His name is Pico the Parrotlet! :)

He's settled in quite well, he LOVES his swing. :) Taz and Chewy don't quite know what to think, but they're okay.  Zach and I spent time with them after I got Pico situated.

He is such a sweet baby!  We had our normal "out of cage time" with Taz and Chewy, put them in their cages, then brought Pico out for a few minutes.  Zach spent some time with him, and Pico went right to his shoulder and snuggled in against his neck.  Zach melted immediately. LOL It was very sweet. :)

When we got home, I filled his food and water dishes, then put the carrier inside and opened it.  Pico sat in the opening for a minute, chewing on one of his new toys, then decided to go all the way into his new house.  He immediately found his favorite perch, a pink acrylic swing.  After he had been up there for awhile, I opened his cage door, picked him up and showed him his food dish.  It was like a lightbulb switched on...."OMG, food!!!!!" and he ate like he was starving. LOL Then when he was finished eating I went back in, picked him up and showed him his water dish.  That wasn't as exciting, but he drank some.  Then he went back to his acrylic swing. :)

He's doing just great.  I'm so glad I got him!!!

Msdani, I sent you a question via PM about the new forum a few days ago, but it doesn't appear to have been read. Do I need to resend?
