5. What is your biggest passion within the subject of birds/bird keeping?

Treating the little darlings with the love and respect they deserve

6. What species are your birds, and how did they get their names?
I have a Quaker (Harley) just did an internet search and that name just stuck out among all the others I looked at, and when I said Harley to Harley she made a squawking noise so really she picked her name.
We also have 2 Indian Ringnecks (outside birds) Paulie and MJ
And a bugdie (Baby) not really sure why we called her baby just thats the first name I thought of

7. What is the favorite toy for your flock?

Umm I would have to say the bells. She loves to walk around with the bells in her beak and occassionally she will throw themn at mePosted Image

8. What is your flock’s favorite food?

Corn and Sunflower seeds as a treat)

9. Share a favorite bird story.

I dont really have a favorite story but bringing her home would of been the best day I think

10. How long have you been keeping birds?

I have had birds for years but they were never allowed to come out of there cage as I was too scared of them, they were never socialised like I have done with Harley, you couldnt hold them or get any where near them without them either biting or running away, or me running away lol

11. What sparked your interest in them?

My partner loves birds so really he got me interested in them. I had no issues with them in there cage but the second they were taken out I would fream the tears would flow, I would shake until either the bird was put away or I ran out of the room, but thanks to our Rainbow Lorrikeet (Lorri) and budgie (baby) I slowly came to love the babies in and out of there cage.. I am still unsure of birds flying around me but I am getting there

So glad you let your birdies out now. Conquering any fear is tough. :)

So what do you like to paint. I also love painting, landscapes for the most part until lately and started painting birds. Have a friend that I got my baby from that got me started with the birds and I enjoy doing them too. Have another friend that wants me to paint his dog... Who would have known?
