Some of you don't know Connie, but she passed away last Monday, 3-4-2013, from a valliant battle with breast cancer. Connie was very helpful on this forum for many years and also a friend to many. She will be greatly missed.

Connie will be sooooooo missed! She sure was a great person ... and I never even got to meet her! :( I considered her a friend through this forum and then thru FaceBook. The world lost a good one ....

I never met Connie in person (I was in the middle of making plans to drive over there to meet her when she took her final downward spiral, so didn't get the chance) but like Jo, I considered her a friend. She was so strong throughout her entire battle, and that was extremely inspiring. I grew to love her and Andie (her daughter), for their strength and courage, and incredible senses of humor and faith.

RIP Connie, you will be sorely missed by all whose lives you touched.

Connie was one of the coolest ladies I never met in person. I really wish I'd had the oportunity. I'll remember her great sense of humour, and her amazing wealth of knowledge. My condolences to Andie. Sooo sorry hon.

Cindy, it was an extremely hard time when Connie passed.  Here are all of Andie's updates while Connie was sick.  RIP, Connie.

Andie and Axel are doing well, they will be moving to Texas soon, I think.  She sold her two horses and her wallaroos.  She's also started a soap making business, using milk from her goats.  Her business name is Grubby Goat. :)
