[attachment=17335:attachment] I took this earlier today. I am wondering what it is and what caused it. It is of my 10 week white faced lutino cockatiel. She didnt pluck i wet her feathers and moved them. Its like a little black bump.

I can't really see what the bump looks like. It could be a cyst of some sort though.

To be sure, I would book an appointment with an avian vet to get an opinion.

Its bbeen there for a few days. At first i thought it was natural. I don't have an avian vet. Gizmo has never been to the vet.

Yep, definitely take her into the vet. Again, I can't really tell from the picture what it looks like, sorry smile.gif

But get her into an avian vet and see what they say. You can start by checking the yellow pages. If you don't see any listed there, you can check here:

http://www.aav.org/vet-lookup/

If you still can't find one, then call up some regular vet offices and ask them if they know of any avian vets or a good regular vet who deals with birds.

As for prices, it varies. Just depends what that bump is.
