So I've set up a sleep cage for Torino. I put his hut in it so he'd be comfy. When I got him out this morning I noticed a bunch of small feathers inside the cage. Could Torino be a Torina? Could the happy hut be a nest that needs to be decorated with feathers? dry.gif Maybe thats why he/she got so territorial about it? I did the sleep cage thing to try and remedy the plucking, I really don't want feather pulling!

Next question, does anyone else have the sleep cage in their bedroom? Have any of your birds picked up on certain "bedroom noises?" blush.gif It occurred to me that when I have the PTA women over I really don't want him well, sounding off!

I cant remember the age of tornino or the situation you were having with him but....
Are you sure torino isnt going thru a molt? The best way to tell is to look for pin feathers.

There is a difference between molting and plucking tho and I guess I am not clear on that so asking for more information.

In re to the bedroom noises I dont know but I am sure others will respond smile.gif
