smile.gif Sorry to keep bugging everyone with all these questions biggrin.gif I just thought I'd ask a last minute question.

Anyone who's experienced with Qp's, Do you know if this would be a good cage for a quaker?

The bar spacing is 5/8 which I've heard us just the right size. I just don't know about the overall cage though.
Does anyone know if this would be a good cage for a quaker. I'm picking up my quaker in a couple of days and I need to order a cage soon I just can't decide if this is a good one or not.

This is the one I liked the best.

You're not bugging, that's what we're here for!

That's a really nice cage, it will be fine. 5/8" bar spacing is the max you'd want to go for a Quaker so it's good. You can add rope perches to the outside so that your baby has somewhere to play out of the cage. Don't worry though, you don't need to go crazy all at once, it's actually better to add things gradually to a new birds environment, he/she will go through a big experience with moving and settling into a new home

Windy city parrots has toys and accessories as well as cages so you are already in a great place to find some things. There is also a Links thread on the forum that can show you LOTS of bird sites.

Good luck on the new baby!! I'll bet you can hardly wait! smile.gif

What color are ya getting. I find that the platinum or what they are calling the bronz show less filth than the darker colors. I say the bronz, if that is the same as some companys call SAND. I have both those colors and like them better than my dark gray or black ones.

Abigail,

That is a lovely cage! I am a firm believer in the seed catchers! I also agree with Kate, in that certain colors show the bird poops less than others.

Frankie's cage is very similar, and I tend to prefer the dome tops over the flat tops. I find them easier to clean and also easier to place hanging toys in.

Your little one will love it!

I hope he/She likes it. smile.gif I'm so excited! My parents aren't too thrilled seeing as we already have a two year old (my brother) running around the house! laugh.gif I hope they'll warm up to my Qp.

Thanks smile.gif I'm thinking about getting the bronze/sand color. So the filth won't show as much.
