Levi's new cage arrived last week. Maggie our cockatiel got Levi's old cage and Levi got the new, bigger one.

He loves it.

These were taken not long after we'd set it up

He does look small in there.

We've moved it all around now so he has more perches so he can use all the space.
He used to be out of the cage the minute we opened the door, but now it can be half a hour before he decides to come out!

That is a very nice cage and double latches too...If Levi decides he wants to come out he will have to figure out two latches.... laugh.gif and that he probably could....

I know he will have a lot of fun in his new mansion....Thanks...............

Nice and Roomy ..I am sure he loves it ...what about a happy hut or PVC pipe big enough for a hidy hole ... tongue.gif you have room for it in there ..better still a Jolly Ball with lots of peek holes my boys love theirs.... rolleyes.gif

P.S I would also put the newspaper on top of the grate and add a toy box he would then have something to climb down for and use all his extra space....(just my thoughts)

I love the "toybox" idea...I might have to try that one. The cage is great, certainly a mansion to any QP no matter how spoiled!

I like the look of the jolly ball. Where did you get that from??

I have a happy hut but Levi's scared stiff of it. I put it in the cage and Levi just froze, he wouldn't move until I took it out.
We tried to get him used to it, but he just hates it.

Most Quakers are real scaredy cats and you need to have the new toy/item near the cage and get them use to seeing it for quite a while ..They are such Bully birds yet scaredy cats at the same time ..too cute ..
Here is the link for the jolly ball..I love this site GREAT toys all safe Stainless steel...REAL QUALITY...
