Was just wondering if anyone else's quakers also like stacking pegs horizontally, Tiki will spend hours lining up all of his pegs ( and he has heaps) he also stacks them onto the bars of his cage, I know it's to do with building as he does that as well, but he loves his pegs, and they have to be just right, he nuts of if they fall out or fall down, it's really quite funny. Here is a pic of what I mean on his shelf, sorry a bit blurry. wink.gif

That is really a cute picture of him. So far, mine doesn't build either.

Thanks for sharing that photo, I'd actually like to see more of his work. laugh.gif

That is just his way of building. Try putting a wire rack around there somewhere and giving him shish kabob sticks (with the tip cut off) and see what he does. Morgan just loves building with his sticks.

Very original building style. Seems to like to get all his buildings up to structural code. Most of the builders I've seen are very haphazard, and irregular.

Tiki might be a little obsessive compulsive. laugh.gif

That is SO cute! You have quite a builder there. Truman isn't nearly as talented. He just lays popsicle sticks in his happy hut and seems to think that makes a nest.

That is really cool, how cleaver. These little guys are so smart. I just got some lollipop sticks from the craft section at Walmart for Mollie. She did not build with the popsicle sticks I gave her so I thought I would try these. Is there an age that they start to be nest builders?
