I had the girls out together for some playtime, but when I went to put them back in their cages, I noticed some strange poop!

The poop has a normal solid, but LOTS of urate! I didn't see any clear liquid- basically it looks like a teaspoon (or more) of milk. huh.gif

This isn't normal for my babies, should I be worried? I gave them a little bit of cooked spaghetti for the first time the other day, but neither one really touched it... and they've been getting their normal Zupreem pellets and banana. Yum! So I don't think that it's food related... I'm worried out my babies, any advice?

Happy Halloween!

Hmmm..in my experience ONE abnormal poop is not necessarily anything to be concerned about. If it continues for a day or more though then it may be time to be concerned.

I agree with Tara, sometimes they just eat something different or they haven't eaten enough first thing in the morning etc. If it continues then I might be concerned but if it was just a one time thing, I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye on it. smile.gif

I agree. Just keep an eye on it, if it stays the same for a few days then I would worry. Every once in awhile Morgan has a strange doo doo but is always okay.
