Awwwww!!! I wish I could offer a solution but back in my hangover days, I finally learned that neither raw eggs, hot peppers, a spoon of sugar, lots of water or black coffee was going to make the little people in my head with their bumper cars go play elsewhere. Time is the ONLY cure.

Not me either. I also didn't make it til Midnight.....I do remember when I had hangovers and I would get up and be so very thirsty that it seemed the only thing quenched my thirst was a Coke.

okay I had a shot of Bacardi malibu (my family tradition) and i drank one glass of Kahlua, yeah I have a headache. blink.gif but thankfully the fids are quiet..lol I let them stay up till midnight because it was Kai and Tillys first new years. Twinkie was out like a light even with horns a blowin' and screaming happy new years, they boys (Paulie and Kai) were into it too, we had the music playing and they were strutting and dancing..lol

I had to work until 11:30PM, but I managed to get home in time for the countdown. Hubby had Alaskan King Crab, potatoes skins, and Spumonti waiting for me. What a feast! It is just about the only time in the year that we have alone. My son is here visiting from Vancouver, but I told him he had to find plans for last night, no coming home. He and a bunch of friends went night skiing, and jumping, until 1AM then fondue. Apparently not very much drinking, but lots of fun. Hubby and I were in bed by 2AM, and slept in this morning, until the cat walked all over us. Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!!!! I am back to work at 3 dealing with the effects of last night I am sure. I will be starting a lot of IV's and giving a lot of Gravol.

laugh.gif That Buddy just cracks me up.....That is just the way I remember the old hangovers too...but no more....

NOT ME tongue.gif

I have a little story to tell ya if it is appropriate....Back when I was working, I told boss man I needed a new typewriter (he usually let me have what I needed)..Long story made short, I chose the IBM and it had some new features on it...Big enough features that I needed one of the representative to show me how it operated....He was with me a few days and on the first day,he was showing me all of them : now he meant to say "correction key" but he said "erection key"...Well we both lost it...Won't say no more, other than the reason I told this story.....One New Years Eve Party I was having a blast and was telling everyone about my new IBM.... I did have a lot to drink and didn't care what I was saying....Well, the drunks know how it was...... laugh.gif And that is the honest truth.....

Connie, I'm the same way!! If I drink too much my biggest penalty is dehydration.

But I didn't get hosed last night. I've had a touch of the stomach flu for the last two days and I'm pretty darn sure I wouldn't been able to keep any alcohol in my system if I tried.
