I need to clean under Milo's wing. We have been putting meds on it for two week (almost) and I think it has a buildup.
We have been washing it as we put on each applaction. The vet says we need to keep it dry under there. So we wash it ,dry it with a towel and then put the meds on. Well he has a feather that is sticking out on the side under his wing. lt's coming from his body and pocking him in the wing. I think hehas bee messing messing with it and it's bleeding again. (just a little) We got that stoped ok .
The vet is out of town untill next week. Plus he's three hours away.
should I try to pluck out the feather that is sticking out or try to soak it and try to get it better that way?
Should I leave it alone? I don't want to make it worse!!!!! But He keeps messing with it.
Milo's looking at me like help mom.
Any ideas how to help him?
