Pet Insurance Is it worth the money?

I want the best care for my little QP. I was looking at VPI birds and exotics health care and I was wondering. Is insurance a joke or should look into getting my quaker some coverage? Thanks.

If you take the money you would use for insurance then you would have the money you need for your birds vet bills.
Most of those are very pricy and they only cover what they want to cover.
