I don't know if you all remember, but Merlin has what we thought could have been a feather cyst?? I had posted a question awhile back.. Well, he has been in and out of the birdie hospital (he is there right now). It looks like he will be having surgery tomorrow to remove what could possibly be a squamous cell carcinoma... He has had a funny little collar on for the past 20 days or so--he adapted amazingly well to it! And the spot healed up nicely--he had been picking the scab off of it everytime it was close to healed--that was where all the bleeding came from. And now what we are left with is funny looking skin... So, for my lil birdie...surgery and more collar time.. I miss him!
Anyway--I just wanted to post an update on him.

Aw, I am so sorry to hear about Merlin's illness.

I'll keep you and Merlin in my thoughts and hope for a speedy recovery! Keep us posted please.

Wow. Poor little guy!!!

Here's hoping this gets fixed and no more collar for Merlin! Thanks for the update and sending you warm fuzzies while your without your little guy.
