Cute, is Pooh Bear going to be a permanent fixture at your house now?
Yes. We were having a difficult time dealing with Sassy's hyperactivity. The Vet recommended a male, nuetered about Sassy's size and stature. After researching, I learned that most dogs know how to interact naturally with all different size dogs. So, when I found this little boy and fell in love right away, I spent 24 hours making deals with Mister and reminding him of his promise, if I was able to rehome all the parrots, I could get a second dog to help combat Sassy's hyperness. He had taken it back and I was really mad, until I convienced him it was the right thing to do, after all the vet recommended it.

Oh Cheryl!!!
Pooh Bear is adorable!!!
What does Sassy think of him?
Sassy was terrified of him at first. Then Bear as we call him, started really coming on strong and Sassy knew Bear was going to keep up with her, so she started playing gently and then with a little more umph. They are going to be best friends I can tell because Sassy won't give up her toys for anyone. We have to fight sometimes till our arms bleed, but she laid her favorite friend at Bear's feet and let him play with it.

He is a cutie alright! Getting "hooked" on Yorkies Cheryl?
They are too danged adorable.
I have always loved yorikies, as my Grams and uncles and even an aunt all raised them. I was always around them. However the yorkies I knew were nothing like these- it is like someone gave them the hyper gene of the jack russell Terrier. LOL

Oh my goodness! What a little doll! Sassy may be like my Bama was when we brought Savannah home. She thought Savannah belonged to her. She gave her her toys too, and every day she washes her face and cleans her ears and lets me know when Savannah wants anything.
Yorkies are pretty hyper, but if Bear is hyper too, then at least they can play til they pass out

Congrats! He is adorable!!!!
As for the mounting.. our dog is not neutered and sometimes tries to mount my sister's male labrador who is.. I think its more of a dominance thing, especially being young. He's trying to ensure his place is leader of the pack. Sassy may put him in his place soon enough

Thanks for that information.
Tonight Sassy saw that Pooh Bear was growling at me as we were playing tug a war and he snapped at her thinking I was in trouble. I had to calmly tell Sassy it was ok. We are just playing.
