Hello,
I have been visiting this site on and off for several months now. Our little budgie died in July, and we adopted a two year old quaker on August 22nd. Her name is Pretty Princess, and she came from a home with two children, but there was seldom anyone home to give her attention.
I live in SE WI with my husband and three children (almost 8, 6 and almost 5). We have a cat and a guinea pig, and now, Pretty of course! We own a retail business, but I am home a lot, so we are able to give Pretty Princess lots of love and attention.
Anyway, I have gotten lots of valuable info here just lurking, now I'm hoping I'll be able to post some more specific questions.

Hi Alisha and Pretty Princess, Welcome to the forum! This is a great place with so many wonderful people that have great advice and info. I have been a member for about 18 months and have learned so much about QPs. We also have a lot of fun too, sometimes with silly but entertaining threads.
