Well this is day four and I have tried the last few days to get Coby to take food from my hand or to even try to eat something other then pellets. Nothing worked!

My Mom got home from work a little while ago and I took Coby in on my shoulder to her office and sat down and talked about our day. Coby was really quiet but when I leaned my head over to give him kisses he would nibble on my lip a little. After a while I handed him over to my Mom and this time he didn't freak out and was quite calm while she petted him. When I got him back. I leaned back in my chair and Coby wandered all over my chest and stomach and then went back to my shoulder. I gave him some more kisses and then I smiled and he reached into my mouth and started "cleaning" my teeth. lol I thought it was weird but then I thought maybe he was hungry and I was "Mama Bird". I didn't want him to do that though because the human mouth is loaded with bacteria. So I moved my head away. Mom asked if he would like an unsalted pretzel and I figured he wouldn't. But I took a piece and held it with the outside part of my lips and sure enough, he took a small bite out of it. I was shocked! I took it out and handed it to him and he nibbled on it and couldn't figure how to get a piece off so I broke it up into little tiny pieces and he started eating it. Yeaaa! Hopefully tomorrow I can get him to eat some banana and maybe some spaghetti when we have it tomorrow evening. Love this bird!
