I talked to Betty last night. Raymond, her son in law....his infection is not clearing up so he now has to go to the other hospital to have surgery. He is being transported today.
As if everything with her SIL wasn't enough. Gina, Betty's daughter also has diabetes and she has NOT been taking care of herself because of all of this and NOW she has an infection in her leg. So Gina was admitted to the hospital last night. Both of them are being transported to the hospital today to have surgery. It is not a good thing because Gina was the only one with a job. Betty is not taking this very well right now. She is by herself and having to do everything with ALL of the animals and she, herself has diabetes and this is taking a toll on her........I am going over there about 10 to take her to get her car so she will at least be able to get out if she wants.
Please, please if you believe in prayer, please Pray very heavy for this family.

Very heavy, sincere prayers going on for Betty and her family right now. It makes one feel so helpless when prayer is all you can do, but it is after all, the best thing to do in such a case.

Please let her know that our love is wrapped all around her and our prayers are on the way. wub.gif

Please let her know we are sending hugs, and prayers and tons of healing wishes!! Gosh its awful when problems start piling one on top of each other and you feel so helpless to do anything. God Bless Betty and her family and please help them to find the extra strength they are needing right now. Thanks for letting us know and please continue to keep us updated. Prayers are a powerful tool and the one thing we can all do right now.

Add our positive thoughts and Hugs to the list.

Is there anyone on the forum close by to help with all the critters ????
Just a thought.
I would help if I was closer.

Tricia

I took Betty to her car, before I left I went in and visited with both Gina and Raymond. I left and I called Betty later. Both Raymond and Gina have been moved to separate hospitals. Raymond is going to have surgery on his foot. Gina, has heart problems and is being monitored for that as well as her diabetes, they moved her to another hospital so they can help her with her heart as well as the diabetes. As far as Betty goes, I told her to "TAKE CARE OF BETTY" because her daughter and Son in Law are being taken care of and if she doesn't take care of herself, then she will be next to go in the hospital. Betty informed me tonight that if anything ever happens to her that I am the godfather of ALL of her birds. That is like 30 birds. YIKES!
Please continue to Pray for the family.....Thank You Everyone........

Prayers are being sent.

Where are you located? Is there any forum members that are near that can help out? If you are anywhere by me I will be glad to lend a hand, arm, leg, ear, etc...

I live 8 miles from Betty and as far as I know, the 2 of us (from the Forum, at least) are it. I told Betty I would help her as much as I can until I start work.

**Gina had surgery on her foot yesterday** her heart was fine. Raymond being in another hospital, it is too hard to find out what is going on, except he will most likely lose his toe. Will update later after I talk with Betty.
