I thought I would put this topic up for discussion. I had a wonderful day with the gals. Sofia, the Westie got groomed today so I was able to bring the girls downstairs to spend time with their "grandma". That ate some cheerios and I brought them water in one of my mother's small frut bowls. "You're letting them use my dish?" she asked. "What they are just drinking water out of it. It is not like they are pooping in it. I held the dish up to them and the each leaned in and had a few drinks. They were loving the royal treatment as everything came to them and they didn't have to step off their perch to get anything.

My mother, one of my sisters, and I went out to eat and I was happily telling this story to my sister and her reaction was like "Oh God." Then I was telling her how my gals hive me a reason to get up in the morning. Their nothing like awakening to the sounds of Nikki and Sunny chirping: "Get your *** out of bed and hop to the kitchen!"

So, question of the day: How do you see your fiddos and how does your family see your fiddos?

I only have one birdy, but he's special nonetheless. I have alot of pics of him stored on my PC, but I do have one on a keychain with my keys if anyone wants to see him. I also have a cat and a crazy dog. All of them are very special, and luckily, our family feels the same. My grandmother always asks me how the children are, and by that she is referring to them. smile.gif I've never really called them children, but in a very big way, pets do seem to take a similar standing in one's family. That is if you care for them as much.
I couldn't imagine my life without some sort of animal companions around, since it's been that way since my childhood. It would be too lonely without one of the rascals getting into trouble. happy.gif

My kids are grown, but one lives with us right now, and the other lives across the alley with his wife and kids. He has really surprised me since we moved over here....he LOVES our fids!! wub.gif (esp. Pogo because of the way that he plays) He actually comes over here almost every day to sit on the couch and play with Pogo. He likes Simon as well, but Simon can be such a lil butt sometimes, biting people and all, so Pogo his his fave. My poor daughter in law also loves the fids, but Pogo acts like he is terrified of her. She gets so upset because he will go to anyone once he's met them, but with her, he acts like she is going to eat him or something! ohmy.gif
