There is a quaker in Indiana. Sorry I don't know how far that is from you. Check the thread out and see if you are interested.

Illinois is in between Missouri and Indiana, so that one is probably too far away. Wasn't there one in St. Louis? Or did I see that somewhere else?

I just checked again, and the bird in St. Louis is a conure. It's on this thread, if you're interested in that one.

I personally would pass on an indian ringneck. Their taming habits aren't typical of a parrot, making them less likely to bond.

Where in Missouri are you? You might check with Frankies Mom ,if you are in the mood to adopt, and see what she has. She takes them in and finds homes. She usually has some. She is in St. Louis.

Hi Robin,

I am low on the tamed quakers, yes ... I have plenty of ex-breeders who are not hand tamed. I am sorry your adoption on the IRN fell through, I know you were looking forward to adding him to your home! I am going to check with some other rescues near me that I work with and see who they have that is ready to be adopted! I'll be in touch.

Hugs,
Joni

I have 2 young hand tame quakers that I'm looking to re-home. (they do as some words already... step-up, whats a dogs say..arf arf, kitty kitty kitty, whatcha doin', give me kisses, good boy, peek a boo...and some others) I'm asking $400 for just the birds and ($600 for everything... large cage, toys and food).
If you would like pics please let me know...I also love in Missouri.

Thanks! biggrin.gif
