i don't normally send christmas cards... it's a big joke in my family. my dad says "i'm still waiting to get your christmas card in the mail..." everytime we talk. i'm just not big on cards.

BUT... this year i had Jo (aka Weeza or equineRtist) paint me a card with Cricket as the main focus. it is absolutely gorgeous and i can't wait to send them to my friends and family!

i probably will just sign the card from me... not my fids though.

I always sign cards with all of our names! biggrin.gif The last couple of years, we've taken a Christmas picture with the pooches under the tree wearing their antlers (George) and Santa hat (Gigi) and then I get on Wal-Mart's web site and use that to make Christmas cards. This year, with Clyde and Bonnie in the family, it's going to be a bit more of a challenge. Hubby suggested Clyde sit on my shoulder and we'll each have a dog sit in front of us, but unless we have a huge breakthrough with Bonnie before then, I don't see how we'll get her in the picture. I have a friend who's good with computer photo manipulation; maybe she can take a photo of Bonnie by herself and PhotoShop that into the group picture so it looks like she's sitting on Hubby's shoulder.

But Christmas cards come from the whole gang!

Well, I didn't just mean Chrismas cards. Like for exampl, my sister's birthday is the 27th and I know she won't be too thrilled witht he way I signed the card - love Jennifer, Sunny, Nikki and Xerxes too. I only put their names if the recipient knows of them. Like If I were sending a christmas card to a co-worker, I generally just put my name unless they know of my two children LOL

We have always signed our own names on each card (I sign mine, then Tom signs his) and if it is going to someone we are very close to we also let Ringo "sign". I give him the card and he takes a couple chunks out of it. biggrin.gif People who get a card signed by Ringo know that they are special...lol

i sign everyone's name, including the fids. and my fids give me a birthday card every year too. i'd feel bad if i left them off our signatures - they are as big a part of the family as the human kid, and she's definitely not left out. and i'm not shy about bragging up my fids either - anyone who knows me or ian "knows" my cat and both birds too.
