hmmmm well maybe one of the cons would be more noise. and of course a pro would be lots more birdy love.. and laughs. I know Paulie has a laugh that makes me laugh everytime I hear it.

For me the con:
Needing to find space for another cage, time to clean another cage, birds that don't get along and not having personal time to work with each one individually.

Pro:
Experiencing different bird personalities either within the same species but more fun is experiencing different species. Plus if you're rescuing birds, knowing that you're helping out a homeless/unhappy birdie wub.gif

Cons
1) Expense
2) Space
3) Less time with your other pets
4) Quarantine
5) The noise level can increase fourfold by adding just one more bird
6) Possibility of one pet hurting another
7) What if they don't get along?
8) What if they bond to each other and become less tame with their people?
9) Increased mess
10) Vet bills
11) Can be harder to find a pet sitter
12) May disrupt the balance of the current flock

Pros
1) Different birds have different strengths. No bird has EVERYTHING so while one may be a cuddle-bug, another may be a great player.
2) The joy of another member in your family
3) The possibility that the birds will get along, or, barring that, even serve to amuse another--*May backfire though
4) The excitement of a new pet-- *Need to be aware this will go away eventually and you can't continually be getting new pets
5) In many ways, adding one bird is not much more work than before

For people in general. I think this would be a good pinning point for people thinking MBS is always a good thing. But would it really matter?
