I did something that i wished I hadnt. I always check out craigs list out of noseyness. I saw that some one wants to rehome a beautiful Rainbow Lory girl. I have always wanted a Lorie for quite some times. Does anyone know of their temperment and how would they do around other parrots. THis is a very young Lorie looking for a home. Would love to have more info on the Rainbow Lorie. THanks

Lories are MESSY MESSY smelly birds because of their food requirements... Runny Poo ALL THE TIME and they are shooters. The Rainbow one that ANdie raised was Noisey but yet friendly but its call literally drove me up a wall... But they are pretty birds.

I don't know anything about them except that they're pretty, but I wanted to say be careful with Craigslist. I've inquired about a couple of birds on ours lately and they turned out to be scams. I know other people on the board here have had similar experiences. Don't know why birds and Craigslist seems to be the latest way to try to steal identities, but it is. Be sure they're for real and be cautious about where and how you meet up if you decide to go ahead.
