Has anyone used the Fake plants like "ivy" that you can buy at Walmart? We were at the Pet store today and they have some fake "they feel kinda in between a silk and plastic" Plants in their Bird enclosures. The Lovebirds actually has chewed off the leaves and used them to cover their food dish. I thought that was cute, they are making their own hide boxes..lol
Anyways my daughter did get some for Paulie and we made sure we washed them with hot water before she attached them to the outside of his cage.. he is usually a little Chicken when we place anything new on or in his cage.. or even around close to him. But he wasn't affraid of these in fact he was hiding behind them when I went to put him to bed. LOL he thought I didn't see him. He didn't want to go to bed. lol But I just really want to make sure they will be ok for him, in case he does Chew on them, or I should say when he decides to chew on them.
