Hey all,
I was so nervous that Elwood was going to hate me when I got home. I have been gone for the past 3 weeks in Hawaii for a class for college, so it wasn't strictly vacation, but hey! It was still Hawaii! My husband has been home this whole time, and Elwood had really gotten to liking him. He started treating my hubby the same way he treats me. Well, I got home last night, and as soon as I picked him up, he went back to his old self, defending me from my husband and all. Awww... I'm actually quite relieved, since I thought I'd get a good biting for my absence!

That's good, no they don't forget you, I'm sure he is glad you are back but they aren't aware of the time that you are gone. It's good he got to know your husband and he should keep trying to keep an interaction with him going, I know quakers can be moody and tend to like mostly one person but it would help.

Yay!

I'm sure your husband was getting pretty used to the nice treatment too! tongue.gif

I am sooo glad you posted this. After I graduate I am going on a cross country trip for a month and have to leave Rocko behind. You're post gives me hope that he'll still love me when I come back!

Awwww, I'm so glad your baby still loves you. wub.gif

We just got home from vacation today, and my friend dropped off Truman. He immediately climbed onto hubby's finger, clicked at him, and said "What?" and "Step up" repetitively (his two favorite phrases). All I got were fart noises, so I guess I know where I rank, hee hee.
