Hello all!!

Sorry its been a while since ive updated on Ali's progress. He's doing fine. Now a bubbly, spunky 7week old with what looks like an upcoming sassy sort of attitude to life! He is a crack up. Has been practicing to fly and has begun to show a clear preferance to be with only me in our household despite my partner doing his best to bond with Ali. Ali also has shown on a number of occasions a clear distaste for my todler. When thomas goes near hi while Ali's out of his cage exploring Ali just starts screaming and backing away. This is probably my fault as when im sitting on the couch having smooch time with Ali and Thomas comes over i tend to protect Ali and shield him as my son can be quite boysterous and rough and what thomas thinks is "patting gently" is really almost poking somethings eyeout! Iv tried showing thomas and talking to him quietly and showing him what i mean when i say "pat gentle" but he's still too young and gets boared and distraced very quickly so i guess iv just learnt to keep the two of them seperate and yeah like i said it seems to have set Ali's mind to "Mummy good, Todler bad".

Anyway Ali has grown out about 95% of his green plumage and has vry little to no grey down anymore except one patch on top of his head and a few patches under the wings.

My question is tho, Ali is still demanding 3 to 4 feeds a day. Iv had fruit and vegies and millit spray and normal 'tiel seed and water in his cage at all times and he soes seem to be eating some but is still demanding his at very least 3 feeds from the formulara day. is this normal? Should i just stop the lunch time feeding and MAKE him eat his seed? Everyone iv spoken to said that he will start to drop his feeds one at a time when he's ready? But at 7/8weeks of age he's not looking like he's ready to drop anything. What should i do?

Ali is fine, he will cut back when he's ready, Spirit took formula until he was 10 weeks old, Squirt about 9 weeks. Although when I am feeding the baby tiels and parrotlets Spirit demands some crackers too so he gets a little for a treat in the evening and he is 7 months old. Squirt doesn't want any. It just depends on the individual quaker, as long as he is still wanting it go ahead and give it to him, when he starts turning his head away or acting disinterested or avoiding it he will back down himself.
