I like the look of this one and it's large size for my quaker. http://www.parrotsup...21-product.html Does anyone have this one?

Foster & Smith also has the same model, but it has assembly required, which at the moment might be helpful since we are moving in a month. But it is more expensive. http://www.drsfoster...mp;pcatid=20329

This is my current cage. http://img368.images...7/rikohouse.jpg

Please give me advice on what I should do, and how I should go about it. ~Angela

A few people on here have bought that same cage and maybe they will respond. I think it has lots of space but I have also heard that it is not good to just have vertical bars. But don't quote me on that....

I found one that I think is perfect. smile.gif http://birdcages4les...ROD/LVSC/PA5702

It's knock down and easy to assemble. Plus it's huge and has both vertical and horizontal panels.
I was concerned about picking the first one I linked, since it was all vertical. My bird did for a time live in an all vertical cage, but I have to think about when he gets older and what he'll be more comfortable climbing or not.

Oh and I forgot to mention the dimensions of my current cage. It's 30" H, 22" W and 18" D. I realize that this is just above the minimum size for a quaker, and I really look forward to getting him a new house.
Thanx again. smile.gif~Angela

That looks like a nice cage and really big. You shouldn't have to buy another cage in your birds lifetime, that is if he is not into chewing. I have a couple of cages for my quaker and green cheek and they are not that big! Kiwi's cage is : 26 x 20 x 68 and Gidgets is: 22 x 17 x 64. They both have plenty of room in their cages with all of their perches and toys........even tho they are out of the cage for a good part of the day.
