Went in Monday for my first ultra sound and they were able to tell very clearly that I'm having a little boy. He had his little rear facing up when we started so we had to poke at him a bit to get him to turn over. It was really exciting getting to see all the pictures. Unfortunately they don't translate very well onto print but I copied them to show you anyway. When the tech said it's a boy the hubby jumped up cheering. He's been wanting a boy and insisting it was the entire time. I'm just glad that everything is developing normally and we're both extremely healthy. In fact other than the morning sickness I'm probably in the best health I've ever been in before. We've decided on a name, Jack Thomas. He should be putting in an appearance sometime around October 14th. They guess that I'm at 18 weeks, almost half way there. Yay!!

This one is his face. I have to use my imagination but I can tell where his eyes are.

Hubby was laughing saying that he's already got big feet.

If you tilt your head to the left this one makes a little more sense. Picture a person laying on there back with both legs extended. The thing in the middle, well he's a boy. smile.gif

wub.gif Congratulations Tamara. You promised us this post and I have been waiting for it. Jack Thomas is a beautiful name. I never had morning sickness, but it must be dreadful. I hope it is quickly on the way out. wub.gif

Congrats!!!
I am SUPPOSEDLY 21 weeks so I 'm right there with ya! (I think I'm quite a bit further since I am smuggling a bowling ball!)

Anyhow...I havent been in to see the Dr. yet so not sure of gender but wondering if this chinese birth chart thingy worked for your little guy.

You just have to line up your AGE at time of conception with the month of conception. It has been right with all three of my children, myself, my sister, my husband and his siblings, my friend, my firends baby, and several people online i have talked to.

If you are 21 weeks and have not seen a DR., I urge you to go ASAP. Good prenatal care is important for a healthy baby. smile.gif

Just did the Chinese birth chart for fun and it says I was more likely to have a girl. I guess I'm in the 7% is supposedly doesn't predict accurately. laugh.gif That sounds like me.

Thanks for all the congrats. The morning sickness is starting to pass. It still rears up full force every few days though. I'm learning to work around it though and go on with my day. I'm still waiting for the feel good happy glow stage. tongue.gif

Well I should have known a boy with all that morning sickness.
with my daughter I only got sick one day and that was more than likely motion sickness.
With my son I was sick threw out the whole pregnancy.
I'm glad you and your baby are so healthy. I can't wait for the happy and glowing
part of preggers for you. We want pictures of the baby bump.
