I was cleaning out Pico's cage and I said to him "I'm going to clean out your cage now Pico" He answered "Okay" I thought that was so cute. When I come in the room where he is he will say"Can I have some popcorn? I give him one piece every day for a treat.(Smart Popcorn)What cute thing does your Quaker's say?

occasionally after cricket gives me a kiss he says, "Thank you, Baby!"

Awwww... too cute and just shows that they underdstand what we are saying. Spirit when I ask him if he wants a cracker (anything food is called crackers) he will say "is it good?" I tell him yes and he says "mmmmmmmmm goooood crackers!" When I ask if everyone is tired at bedtime Spirit says "wanna go nite-nite" then I say okay but I need a kiss, he comes to the edge of the cage and makes a kissy sound then says "gimme kiss" I give him a kiss and he says "thank you...good kisses". Squirt does the nite-nite and kissy thing too. Also Spirit and Squirt are in a double cage Spirit on top and they can't see each other, because Squirt's balance isn't the best sometimes he falls, when he does Spirit says "are you okay?" and Squirt says "okay" LOL

Kiwi didn't talk much at all for years after I got her. All she did was cry like a baby and say "apple".
Now she says all kinds of things and seems to be learning more every few days. She has picked up "thank you" and says it every time you come near the cage. What a hoot.

Lol there's a few things he says that are cute every day when i give his his vegies he says thank you and gives a kiss (for real) and when he says kissy love you come come . And when i take him off me to make a poo he says maka lol. And when he drops something he goes aw oh .

Awwwhhh that is so sweet! They are very smart!

In the mornings when I uncover my birds. I get to Kibbles cage and as soon as the cover is off she says in this hugely exaggerated way "Good Morning!". Two days ago Kevin uncovered them and as he was taking the cover off she said "Good Mor.....then she say it was Kevin and not me and she did not finish her greeting. She loves her Mommy!!! Another cute thing she does is when I walk in the room she will say "Hey Sweetie!"

When I am on the phone, Polly will sit in her cage and parrot talk over me. It really sounds like one end of a conversation even though it contains no human words. Somehow, she knows when my conversation is almost over and says "Good-bye, good-bye!!"

In the morning after she tells me "Good morning, beautiful!" she walks around her cage saying, "Where am I going? Where am I going?" That one cracks me up every time.

I love reading these stories, they are so funny!! Zuzu says some really funny things, he always ask, "what are you doing??", he says "up,up" when he wants me to get him off of his cage, he tells my dog to "hut up" (no s in that)when he starts barking like crazy at the window. He also says "bouncy,bouncy,bouncy" when he does his fast bobbing up and down, he calls me "momma" sometimes, says "I love you" and of course "hello".One of the funniest is every day when I get his water dish and we walk to the sink together he satrts doing a sound like running water and says "water". I know he says other things but I can't make them out yet. He cracks me up!! My tiel Conrad says NOTHING. He looks at Zuzu like he's nuts whenever he goes on a talking jag. They really are such samrt little guys.

when i attempt cleaning cosmo's cage she says no no no no no no no no and yanks stuff from my hands HAHA

she has a ladder that leads down the floor of her cage, where she spends most of her time, she hates perches and is a chronic egg layer so she is on the floor alot, well she will say no no no no no yank the stuff from my hands and then pull her ladder down

as if that will stop me from entering the cage HAHAHA
