Hey guys

well we decided to go out and get some new things for the cage today. We got a giant ladder and a giant swing and some pellets so we could get Paris (20 weeks) eating them because Roxy (baby) is already eating them. So we set the cage up with its new things and thought lets put Roxy in there with her and see how they go. Well Paris wasnt too keen on the idea but they stayed away from each other at first then Roxy decided to have a bath in the water bowl which paris hasnt done before it was the cutest thing and Paris was just looking at her as if to say "what on earth are you doing". But then of course Paris decided to go and try it as well.

After this Roxy was soaked and Paris started going through her feathers and kissing her i think she thought she was her mother it was the cutest thing and i got it on video i will load it up soon. So all in all looks like they are going to get along great.

Oh that is so adorable.

I am sure you have read it over and over in the forum but be careful to not let them bond tooo closely to one another or they could push you out of the group.

It's probably a good idea to keep their living arrangement as seperate cages but have an area where they come to play together. They can keep each other company from their cages chatting back and forth when you are not home and when you are home come out to play together.

thanks for that link however it does not say to NOT put them together if they are both females but i can see where it is going saying that they have no need for human contact as they have each other

we are going to keep the baby inside for a few more weeks anyway then we will decide what we are going to do i can see Paris getting very protective over the baby

ggrrrrrrr!!
