Bobbie Lee Update The little found budgie

I ran into a neighbor last night who told me she was about to go get herself a budgie. She had already bought a cage. Well, of course, you know what my reply was about.

She's very good with animals and her boyfriend used to have budgies.

I figure if anybody else was going to call about the posters, they would have by now so I went ahead and let her take Bobbie Lee home this morning. She knows that there is a remote chance that somebody still might call with a convincing description and she would let them take her. She put her in the cage and Bobbie Lee immediately started playing with the toys that she had in there.

I feel like everything worked out the best possible way and the story has a very happy ending.

Thanks for your comments everyone!

They went out to buy toys, treats, and who knows what else to start spoiling her from day one. I don't know yet what all they brought home but I saw three bags from P*tSm*rt.

They're keeping the name "Bobbie Lee" but the boyfriend calls her "Bob".
