Well, as I said, last week the new Jolly Ball arrived. I have had a tiny Jolly Ball forever, but, in all honestly, after seeing "peeking Harley" I knew Loki *needed* a Jolly Ball.

The big Purple Ball sat around all week, was on another play stand for a bit, waiting until today, when I could actually get the big ladder and mount a ceiling hook for it to hang from.

Loki was not happy today, when Mommy drug that big, scary ladder in the house.

It has taken about an hour, of him looking at this crazy new ball, hanging from the ceiling, for him to totally love it!

He has gone inside and played all around. He even practiced some sounds in it, because it makes a funny echo to his voice....and for the first time, he said, "Thank you" after the "gimme a kiss" it was so cute!

Hmmm...I wonder now, How will I ever get him out of there! smile.gif

Anyway, hope you enjoy the pics....

Thank you both! I was simply amazed at how many toys were on this thing. I could take them off and rotate them around for a year or more, I am sure!

It really is a cute toy, and I have to thank the picture of Harley peeping out of his Jolly Ball....that was my encouragement to get a big one smile.gif

I would say, this has been one of the best toys I have bought in my 17 years of keeping birds smile.gif

I am just so glad he liked it, I would have been quite disappointed if he was scared of it.

This Jolly Ball came from a lady named Jan, at this web site...

http://www.pionusparrot.com/shop/

She has been super nice and helpful.

If you go there make sure to search for coupons, as she does specials too.

I also ordered a bunch of the little toy parts...she has some really good prices smile.gif

Please posts pics, if you get one.

By the way, the one I got was the 10" one.

I actually went to the store today to look for something like this. Great pictures. You have one brave fid, only an hour to start playing on it? I gave Phoenix popsicle sticks for the first time today for him to build with and he is still scared to death and won't go near them 5 hours later.

Thank you smile.gif

I actually wrote a post today about how Loki was totally freaked out about these tiny little sticks I got for him at the same time...he still wont touch the sticks.

He is a crazy one smile.gif

Oh how exciting! Great photos.

Pluto absolutely loves his Jolly Ball and 'anything' he can hide in. I have come to the conclusion that most Quakers are like that and that maybe it has something to do with their ancestry behaviour of building those huge nests with the multiple rooms etc...
