Thanks! Clyde has already bitten me twice and both he and Jade insisted on sharing my toast this morning, so they're doing their best to keep me busy today.

In fact, Hubby had let them out first thing, before I got up, and Clyde immediately stole my glasses, so I had to put my contacts in so I could see. The things we do for these birds!

You weren't late, Majj. It's still Monday on this side of the world.

I had a very nice birthday, and thank you all for remembering. Hubby even brought me a bouquet of roses and some dark chocolate. And Clyde has been very generous with his kisses today, maybe to make up for the bites this morning.

Hubby said he tried to get them to learn to say "Happy birthday, Mama" and they were stubborn. I'm sure they were THINKING it.

Thanks, all! I had to go back to work on Tuesday after a week off and I've been sick as a dog all week, but had to go to work anyway, so I am REALLY glad it's the weekend. My band has a job tonight, which isn't going to be any fun at all.

How on earth did I miss this? Well, gee, I'm late but I hope it was the best birthday ever and I see I am not the only one late. That means you are still getting wishes, so you birthday lasts longer. See? I knew I could somehow make it sound good
