Yesterday I went and picked up my first little green turkey
he is Yoshi a DNA sexed male who hatched on june 10th 2009
he is great!
he was a little nervous at first and this morning but he has a strong setup response and is preening and eating toast on top of his cage right now
I love him so much already!!!

scratch that, hes now playing with a wooden spoon

Yoshi seems to be a very popular quaker name... and with that little grey cheeked face I can fully understand why! (That, and the fact that it's absolutely adorable.)

I'll chip in with the pictures request! We would LOVE to see him!!

.... this group sounds like a nestful of featherlets at feeding time. *wicked grin*

these are pictures of when he was a baby, Ill get some pictures up from here soon

also while he was out I taught him how to"shake"
with his foot, it's soo cute Ill try to get a video of it

I love him so much
he seemed to enjoy LLcoolJ music too lol
right now hes all fluffed up and taking a snooze and looking AORABLE
he also seems to love his tree stand and really seems to have a sweet beak for sunflower seeds
