Hi Dee,

I'm wondering if there is some way to change the forum so that members can edit and delete our own posts at any time?

It is possible to allow everyone to edit and delete their own posts however it isn't something we will open up. The reason being that if someone edits their post or deletes it after others have replied it most often takes away from the entire meaning of the thread. If someone replies and then later someone edits their own post the reply looks out of context and may not make any sense.

User have I believe 10 minutes after they post to change their post .. otherwise they would need to contact a moderator who would review the entire thread and not just the post being asked for an edit or a delete .. to ensure that the thread still has some meaning or might need to be removed in it's entirety.

Gotcha, thanks Dee!   I posted in one of Siobhan's threads and later thought "Now, why did I say that!!" but couldn't delete it.
