We just noticed something in our 12 year old Quaker. His/her, we don't know, has a white spot in the middle of one of his/her eye. The other eye is all black. Do Quakers get cateracks or is she/he blind in one eye? She/he seems not to be as aware on that side.

Yep, they can get cataracts. I'd definitely bring your FID to the vet for a diagnosis since there are other diseases that are more dangerous, though, that it could be.
