Can you up load a photo of your fid/fids here I can make you a avatar and siggy then help you get it up..tell me what things you like something about yourself so I can pick a picture to suit...
if you don`t know how to put a photo here send one to me in an email ......

To be honest i dont have a camera that takes good close up pics and dont know how to upload or send them in emails. Im useless with pcs except getting in here and loking things up on internet. But, i have a male eclectus, a congo african grey and a white bellied caique and 2 pacific parrotlets and a yorkie. Im sure any pic of these birds would look just like mine even if not originals. My only other hobby is flower gardening and i have some good pics of that but only in snapshots. I could mail those to ya if it would help, otherwise i guess im out of luck.Main flowers are iris and day lilys. Not much help am i. but thanks for the offer.

O.K Kate here are yours ..You need to click open the signature to get the correct size then right click on it and save it to your computer in a file where you can save all your pictures...
The avatar is the small square and doesn`t need to open bigger save it to your computer the same ..if you go to the first message on this post it will explain to you how to add them ..

no it is still small click on the one majj made you first and then from when the picture becomes big, thats when you want to save it.


Avatar...This is the small picture on the top left hand side of the post..
To add it you must go to MY CONTROLS..then to Edit Avatar upload the picture from your computer make sure its in J`peg formate..

Signature;This is the tag or picture at the bottom of your messages..
You MUST have this saved on a Free on line web page ..such as Web Shots /Photobucket or Imagestation...COPY the URL Adress from there..
Go to MY CONTROLS...Edit Signature
Look at Bar with icons and click IMG a space will pop up this is where you COPY the URL address you have copied from the picture on the free web page...DONE...
The Avatar and Signature should now show up on every message you post..

Yes you can add them to your emails ..If you have them saved on Photobucket or a online webpage just copy and paste them to your mail...

Kate have you saved the pictures to your computer..???
if so the avatar can be added straight from there..
Go to my controls and click on edit avatar and then click browes and browes your computer to get the avatar picture from the files you put them in .. and up load ..get that one done first then I`ll come back to explain more on the siggy...Good Luck...

O.K here you go I made you a avatar Small one ...and Signature big one first click on the signature till it opens to the larger siz...then right click on it and save it to a file on your computer...the avatar doesn`t need to be opened just click on it and save to your file on your computer..
Go to MY CONTROLS and fine edit avatar then you will see a browes sign click and get the avatar from your folder off your computer and click ..upload and your avatar should be on..
The signature needs to be on a free web page on-line such as PhotoBucket ..here is the link..

Join this and up load your signature photos and whatever pictures you want to store on line..
Then from there you highlight and copy the IMG addy (bottom line) then come back here Go to my controls and find edit signature click the IMG sign on top then a white space will open up you just paste the IMG address that you copied from Photobucket into that space....easy peesy ..
it should then all work...

I am one of those newbies and have been trying to figure out the av and siggy thing, but can't seem to make it work. I would so aprreciate it if you would be willing to make me a couple of my own with my QP Hunie. I love teddy bears and cats. Hunie's b-day is on the 27th he will be 1year old. I am very excited about that. He says a few things slowly but surely he will talk more and more. I am a stay at home mom thank the good Lord so I get to spend alot of time with him he is my company. My hubby got him for me before he went to Iraq last August. Something I have always wanted and he wanted me to have someone to keep me company besides my 14 year old daughter and my 12 year old son. So it has worked out and we are still close. Hunie is still trying to adjust to my husband being home but I know it will all work out. Thanks for your time I am glad that you enjoy doing these things for others. I love all of the things I have learned here and will continue to come here daily and read all the different post. I will attach the pics of Hunie and you can use the ones you think are the best. I am sure after seeing your work I will love anything you come up with. Thanks again!!

Okay so I've been trying to make myself a signature. I'll keep you updated on how that goes. It may take my computer illiterate self a while though.

What I wanted to ask was if I want to put a picture in a post as a thumbnail how do I do that? My picture was huge.

Well I think you need to reduce you photo`s first as there is a size limit to what you can upload..so once you reduce them (on Paint or another programe on your computer) then just click the browes box at the bottom of this message box and you can upload the piccy here from your computer...

Thank you Majj! I guess it would be easiest to say that I am a jack of all trades, yet a master on none. I love walking in the forest, listening to the water, watching people. I'm a crafty-type person and constantly have a project going (or two or three... ). I don't know if you could get anything from that, but I have loved what I've seen you do and trust you.
