Hi, The gimp is an open source graphics creation and manipulation application similar to Adobe Photoshop. To to it all off, it's free online. It's one of the best rated. I was playing with it and it's not the easiest thing to figure out but tutorials are available online.

Sorry it took me so long to answer your question. I wish the forum had something to advise us when someone replies to our post...maybe it does and I dont know about it yet.

Anways, The gimp does have animation. Here is a link to tutorials. It gives you an rundown of things you can do with the Gimp. http://gimp.org/tutorials/

I should take a crash course. I almost have to see someone do it. I spent a while trying to do a cut out of Sharlee and then place her on the other layer and I suck! I gave up. It would be easy of I saw someone do it. I'll give it another chance when I have time.

Thanks for the info Valerie ..I just ordered Animation Shop , it use to come free with the Paint Shop Pro . programme but doesn`t any more ..I hope my store can get it in I would rather get it as it works in conjunction with PSP and I am use to that ..I am sure it will be a lot harder to learn animation shop but it will be fun to have a go...
