Here are a few of the things my fids like to hang out on:
The first two are made from the round hoops, sold at Walmart craft section.
They are wrapped in cotton clothesline rope.

This last one was also made from one large hoop, wrapped with cotton rope on the bottom.
Then, some pieces of dowel rods, half a coconut shell, and sisal rope for gripping at the top.

Once again, good Job!!!

Did your Fids get right on the gym? Curious, my Mr. Kiwi will bawk, bawk with anything new, he acts like something is killing him. I must of been very over protective of the little guy....LOL

That is typical, Sandi. Mine will probably stare at something new like this for several days, before ever venturing close to check it out. Usually I just end up putting one of them on it after a few days, so they can see it is not going to hurt them.

I guess they are all like that!

Hi, I can't tell in the pictures. Did you just tie off the ends of the clothesline/rope? Just trying to figure out how you secured it. I'm hoping that Lola isn't too picky as I know anything I make isn't going to look that "finished"

Way to go Gail! Just shows once again that you don't have to be rich to keep your fids entertained - just creative! Nice work!

Looks great Gail! biggrin.gif

Those are awesome. I especially like the last one. When you get time, can you explain how you made it and secured the dowels? I'd love to try my hand at that one.

Hot glue gun. Secures just about everything! wink.gif

I like to tie the knots tightly, first, then put some hot glue under the final knot.
