I finally hung the atom! When I did Mékhé kept getting on the horizontal bar it hangs from so I beat him at his own game!(LOL) I wrapped it in vetwrap and hubby made a extension for the table top which I covered with a vinyl tablecloth for easy cleaning. Now he can play uptop or on tha atom. They always have their fresh veggies on the tabletop by the window in the am too so this play area is also their "dining room" LOL and as you can see from Mali....its their bathroom too!

How much did it cost to make the Atom?

I've used three braid cotton rope on the metal support bars to create cover and perch-able space for Maxxx. I wind the pole into the center of the rope so that it doesn't show. Maxxx seems to prefer this kind of location to others available. He is flight-enabled in the house and I try to provide save zones that are not curtains or other less desirable places. I'm planning on an addition to my shower/tub where he can play while I clean up in the morning (coat hanger wrapped with the rope). Same question: any objections to using this kind of material?

I'll try to post some pictures for eval purposes later.

dont you just love vinyl tablecloths? I usually look for them on sale and buy tons of them because they are so useful in keeping the place stay clean.
