OKay, I bought a shower perch online
I'm an idiot, my tiles are textured and the perch needs flat tile to suction to. Other than that it's perfect for what I want
Any ideas as to how I can get it put up?

Do you have a glass door? Will it stick there?

What about silicone glue? My ex is a plumber, and used it in our tub, to secure the soap dish. It has been there for years without problem. It smells like vinager when it first goes on.

Mine are stuck on the tiles, but every time Joey gets in the shower I always make sure there is a strong grip.

I have the same problem. I bought the shower perch, and it won't stick on the surface in the stall. So now I can't use the perch!!
Try a thin layer of vaseline and see if that works. It will sometimes help to keep the suction. It didn't work for me though.

Okay I just thought of one idea, maybe y'all can tell me what you think.
I have an extra deep tub. How about I put the perch on the side of the tub? That way she can perch, but will be lower down?

Okay, maybe you can get a piece of plexi glass and install it on your wall. This way you can put it exactly where you want to and it won't look too bad because it is see through.

Yes .. I think that would work ... As long as she can perch and the water comes lightly from above anyways.
I haven't had a problem with mine .. Sticks just fine to the tiles .. and holds Perk easily ..

LOL, I wouldn't have any problems if it wern't for the fact that they are a stone texture, and while I can get one cup to stick the other two won't play ball grrr

We have the same one like Dee has. When Ralph takes his shower I put it low in the tub (about 1/2 way up the side of the tub) so that if he gets scared and tries to fly off it he won't have far to fall. Also, I'm hoping that some day he'll just hop off it and play in the tub and splash around. The spray isn't as hard when it's down that far too. Aries and Gus like it up high on the wall, but Ralph won't get on it if it's up high.
I'm sure it will work in the tub. Just make sure you wet the suction cups a little first so they don't slide down the side of the tub.

Maybe you could hang a mirror somehow... or if you like home improvement replace four or five of the textured tiles with smooth tiles and make some kind of design that would be decorative and make a place to stick your shower perch.. other than that no ideas here... good luck

When I made my shower perch, I used a piece of plexie glass and screwed it to the side of the shower, then stuck the perch to the glass. The perch rotates, so I can move it out of the way when not in use. Workes for me.
