Just curious if anyone has gotten a cage from this seller before? The prices are very good and they look similar to the Desmonds cages, but have more ornate scrolling on them.

I have not ordered a cage from them but I have gotten 4 cages off eBay from 2 different sellers and have been very happy with my purchase. Most of the sellers sell similar cages and get them from the same supplier. I was a little worried with my first cage because it was manufactured in China and I was afraid it had zinc in it. However, I tested it and no zinc was found! My only complaint is the directions STINK! Hope this helps....good luck!!

I haven't ordered from them before, but I know a LOT of people who have and just love the cages. The shipping is great (free I believe) and the quality is good too. I haven't heard any bad stories from the people who purchased from JM Exotics.

Great

I ordered a cage from them and it is coming on Wednesday. I am hoping it is decent. I can't believe the prices of cages at the pet stores...

I ordered from them. Love the cage but the directions were terrible! Shipping was fast. I would buy from them again.

We just ordered a new cage for Kena... I am not really happy with the "tone" of the emails he sent regarding the color. The item I purchased had the color of "Silver Vein" listed, but then I got an email that they didn't have that color. That's fine, not happy about that but oh well, no biggie, we'll get black. I suggested that he adjust the ebay item listing so that someone wouldn't have the same disappointment. His reply did not call me a liar (outright)... but insisted that I was wrong. 3 or 4 exchanges later, and he finally realizes that he DOES in fact have the item worded wrong, and silver vein was listed.
Maybe I was having an off day. Maybe HE was having an off day. Or maybe I read too much into his email(dont think so, since a couple of people read over my shoulder at work today and asked me what crawled up that dealer's butt). Any way you look at it, I haven't even gotten the cage yet, but I am not happy with the experience.
Of course, finding basically the same cage in surgical stainless steel for only a total of $100 from another dealer only frustrated me more(that's what I really would have preferred). Sigh. Just my 2 cents worth - I will go to a different dealer next time.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Mine was very good.
You know, this week has been crappy for *everyone* it seems. I've been in a mood, my kids have, my friends have, etc.. Just a bad week. Maybe Mercury is retrograde or something
Oh, and the black is nice. I have it and I like it.

I got a chuckle about a couple of posts that say the directions stink...Well at least you had directions....some cages I've dealt with don't even come with instructions...have come without enough screws or bolts some with too many, Some with extra pieces etc. Its great when they ship an extra bowl...but it sucks when their shy a bowl...cuz you can't order just a single replacement bowl from these companies...LOL...your just out of luck...
Anyway...good luck with your shopping on Ebay...but just remember, buyer be ware...

When ever there is any scrolling on a cage the first thing to look at is this scrolling anything they can get their feet caught on. Toes can get caught in some scrolling I have seen. Make sure the where any scrolling comes together it's not right together, like a V.

I got this cage from them - for 65$ and NO shipping! Was an awesome deal! Didn't come with instructions but was easy to assemble IMO. Excuse the mess in the pic - I think you can see the cage OK.
