I found a shower perch on ebay that is hand made. It is also less expensive than the ones I have seen at the websites or catalogs devoted specifically to birds.

I got mine today and it is very well made, has really large suction cups for sticking, and can be folded out of the way while not in use. It's a 3/4" perch and is 10 inches long. I think it was well worth the money. I paid $14.50 for it and that was including shipping. The lowest I have seen these elsewhere has been in the $20 range.

I don't have any connection to this person, I just figured that you all would like to know about a good deal.

Nope, haven't used it yet. Baby Gremlin comes home tomorrow! Just getting prepared wub.gif

I did check it and it sticks great on the shower doors. We have stone-like tile in the shower though, so it won't stick to that. I left the perch in there and my husband is gonna freak. I can see his face now: huh.gif

He thinks I am crazy as it is about this bird, but taking it into the shower with me? wacko.gif

Hehehe.
spigglepig
My 9 year old daughter will not take a shower without our Spigglepig in there with her now. They have a ball. You can hear her singing all the way down the hall and the bird squawking in answer and saying "good bird!!"
The shower perch was a great investment for us!!!

Cosmo & Marti's Mom
Of course they are supposed to come in the shower! Cosmo has gotten to the point that she's ready to go in and "hang" (doesn't alwasy bathe) with me as soon as she hears the shower running! its cute!

smile.gif My tiels shower with me every morning. Smudge always looks like he's about to fall back asleep he's so content, and Apple tries to drink any qater drops that fly her way.

You can also make one of these very easily out of some PVC, connectors, and vet wrap. The one I made cost me about $8, can hold 4-6 birds, and I have enough materials left over to make a second one.

Everyone should have a shower perch!

I cant get my Quaker or Ringneck to use a shower perch, they are spray bottle bath babies but they enjoy hanging out with me in the humidty.

I now use the shower perch as a perch for the car. My flock goes alot of places with me so I throw them on the shower perch stuck to the window and we ride out.

Of course, they LOVE IT. People love to see them, always take a second look. I paid 40 dollars for that thing... not going to let it lay in a closet so I stick it to any glass or mirror I am by and my babies are always right there with me. No matter where I am. Car, bedroom... doesnt matter, most rooms have windows and if not, a mirror.

Thats how we use our shower perch and they love it.
