my landlord jsut finished installing electric floorboard heating and right now theres a bit of a smell (electrician says its the oil in the heaters and it will disapear after it runs for a little while) manhattan is gone right now but i'm just wondering if the smell will bother him when he returns. i'm going to try to run it for a few hours before he returns but if there is still a smell do you think it will bother him?

I would open a window to clear the smell - it can bother him - what is burning off is the oil they coat the pieces with before shipping.
