Ever asked the question, "What does FID mean?" or "What's a QP?" Well, I know I've asked before and I'm know other members have as well. So I thought it would be great to have a post on abbreviations! A place to find a quick explanation as to the lingo the members use on the forum.

If you know an abbreviation and it isn't listed here, just reply to this post with your abbreviation. Please make sure the abbreviation isn't already listed before posting. If you see an abbreviation for one word, but know of another abbreviation for the same word then share! biggrin.gif Please don't list 'links' to other pages with abbreviations, that takes all the fun out of it wink.gif As members add their abbreviations, I'll add them to this main post, this way it will be all in one spot.

Shelly will sticky this thread, as it will be easy to find on the forum.

Let's get to it!! cool.gif

Also, when the list starts to become complete, I'll make the same list into columns, as it won't be as long then.

Originally I was told that GCC was Green Cheek Conure, until I joined a Conure group and was corrected (rather rudely too!).

I did put Green Cheek Conure as GC or GCC

And with Blue Crown Conure, I put it as BC or BCC (BC is the 'correct' way, or so I was told dry.gif )

Thanks for the additions ladies!!

Keep em coming guys!! I know there are lots more out there wink.gif
