I'd like to find something to use between all out cage-scrubs and thought possibly of antibacterial wipes. Would the substance on the wipes be harmful to my QP?

Thanks,

Chris

I don't know about the anti-bacterial wipes but i would be a little nervous about using them...

I do however use babywipes for quick poop clean-ups.Just the un-scented ones.....

Hi Chris,

I am not sure I would use anything to clean my fids' cages unless and until I could verify that the ingredients in it are safe...

I use wipes (unscented) alchohol free. I use them to clean the seed guards and clean the little poos on the bars. I have been doing this for quite a long time.

I use baby wipes also for poop clean ups ..the unscented ones. Just be careful what you use on the cage. Some suggested using peroxide deluted with water..that's what I'm going to use for quick clean ups on the cage..otherwise I just take it into the shower and blast it with hot water for about 10 mintues and wiped the bars down with paper towels. I use hot water on all the perches as well..and then i spray them with the peroxide mixture to kill any germs left behind.
