Was wondering is oak tree branches are safe to use as perches?
My Ellie
I have actually heard that they are not. Although I have heard that it's the wood, some say it's the foliage and acorns...Some people may have heard otherwise, some people's toxic plant lists vary. However better safe then sorry. Also remember that if you take a branch from outside, make sure that it has never had pesticides sprayed on it. Then clean it and disinfect it and either dry it in the sun or the oven. Go to this link for a general idea of what not to use:
