.. lol hello its me again i have a question today.. Tofu will shake and shake and shake alsmot like hes quivering.. He doesnt do it all day hell do it from time to tome for about 5 mins then it stops... and hell be fine then it starts again.. Should i have him checked out by a vet? turn the heat up? or is it just normal?

How old is Tofu? It sounds like it could be normal quaking / feeding behavior.

I'm not sure how old he is at all.. We found him around a month ago... ... hehe i hope its normal.. just kinda made me feel bad.. I was scared he was really cold >< or sick

It is believed that one of the reasons why Quakers are called Quakers is because when they are babies (still feeding), they literally quake from the tips of their tails to their heads when they are hungry. They will also hold their wings out and their heads up, with their beaks open. I brought Skyler home on Saturday (she is almost 13 weeks old), and when she sees me with her feeding syringe, she will do some quaking. If Tofu is still young, he may not have outgrown the quaking behavior.

Can you find out how much he weighs? At almost 13 weeks, Skyler is 74 grams (my cockatiels weigh about 95 grams). A full-grown Quaker weighs around 125 - 150 grams, I think.

Well when we got him and took him to the avian vet he was suppose to weight around i think not sure 98-100 grams... And he only weighted ehh 95 96 grams? Im sure hes put on weight since hes been here (lets hope).. Were taking him back very soon to check if hes been gaining any... The vet didnt worry much about his weight since he coulda flew along ways from his home when his owners lost him.. and thats more likely what effected his weight... everything else was fine his feathers were nice his poo was great soo she didnt worry too much
